2-Alarm Fire Burns Antelope Home
ANTELOPE (CBS13) - Arson investigators were at a home in Antelope where a two-alarm fire broke out on Monday morning.
Neighbors on Glenleigh Court were woken up by the sound of popping and banging.
"We heard a loud explosion. It shook the house. So, I didn't know what was going on. I ran around, got the kids, and came out side. I saw the flames, they were just all over the place," said a neighbor.
Flames could be seen coming from the garage and the roof of the home. Firefighters say the fire was so large they had to wait for about 30 minutes before they could go inside.
Neighbors say the family of five that lives in the home is on vacation.
Fortunately the fire did not spread to adjacent homes. No one was injured in the fire.
