11 Killed On Calif. Highways During Thanksgiving
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The California Highway Patrol says 11 people were killed on state highways during the first 60 hours of the Thanksgiving holiday period.
According to numbers released by the CHP on Saturday, that's seven less than for the same period last year.
In Los Angeles County, four people were reported killed on the highways.
Statewide, there were and 975 CHP arrests for suspicion of drunken driving, compared to 904 last year.
