1 Found Dead After Fire At Modesto Home
MODESTO (CBS13) - Authorities say one person is dead after a house fire in Modesto early Sunday morning.
The scene was along Goldie Avenue. Modesto Fire says crews showed up just before 5:30 a.m. and found that the home was fully engulfed.
The fire completely destroyed the home, firefighters say, including causing the roof to collapse.
Firefighters soon learned that seven people lived at the home. One of the residents was confirmed to be dead. Five others have been accounted for and taken to the hospital for various injuries, while one person remains unaccounted for.
