1 Dead, 6 Hurt In Modesto Brawl
MODESTO, Calif. (AP) -- One person is dead and six others injured after a large brawl outside a party in Modesto.
Police say when they responded to calls of a loud party at a house at 1:22 a.m. Saturday they found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Modesto police Lt. Rick Armendariz says the man died after being taken to a hospital. His name has not been released.
Investigators later learned that six other people had been hurt during the brawl. Three people were being treated at a local hospital for stab wounds and three people for other injuries.
All six had gone to the hospital before officers arrived. Police say none of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening.
