1 Boston Marathon Suspect Dead, Manhunt Underway For 2nd
BOSTON (CBS) – Police shot and killed one Boston Marathon bombing suspect, while the other – his brother – is still on the run and said to be armed and extremely dangerous.
The surviving suspect has been identified as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, whose last known address was in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
His brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, is the other suspect that was killed by police overnight in Watertown.
The men are originally from Russia in the region near Chechnya, according to the Associated Press.
CBS News correspondent Bob Orr reported the brothers were believed to be living legally in the U.S., but they were not here as students.
