On Monday, July 18, 2022, crews were hard at work at the former Heinz Field. They were taking down signage to make way for Acrisure Stadium. After removing the endzone ketchup bottles on Monday and Tuesday, the iconic Heinz Field sign on the front of the stadium was taken down.
"Whether it's Three Rivers Stadium, Heinz Field, Acrisure Stadium, whatever it may be, it's the people in there that make it a special venue."
