Zach Brown Transferring To Pitt?
PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Pitt head coach Todd Graham may be on the verge of landing another high-profile transfer.
Various reports say that Wisconsin running back Zach Brown is considering transferring to Pitt and has already visited Oakland.
Brown would be eligible to play for the Panthers immediately thanks to a new NCAA rule, which allows fifth-year players with degrees to play immediately.
Brown is a player that Graham would use considering Ray Graham is the only returning scholarship running back.
During his three-year Badger career, Brown, who came to Madison from Royal Palm Beach, Fla., rushed for 1,152 yards (4.8 ypc.) and 11 touchdowns.
Brown decided to leave the Badgers because he'd start the season behind Montee Ball and James White on the Badgers depth chart. Many college football experts believe Ball and White are the top running back duo in the country.
