WVU's Pepper Transferring
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins is losing a player that had a good chance of starting this year for the Mountaineers.
Huggins will start next season without Joe Mazzulla, Casey Mitchell and Jonnie West, all good perimeter players. Dalton Pepper can now be added to that list.
Surprisingly, the 6-foot 5-inch sophomore guard has transferred from Morgantown.
The rumor is that Pepper will transfer to Temple, a school closer to his hometown (Pennsbury, Pa.).
Pepper averaged 3.9 points last season and scored 10 points in West Virginia's NCAA tournament win over Clemson.
