Woman's Body Pulled From Allegheny River Identified
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Authorities are investigating after a woman's body was pulled from the Allegheny River Wednesday.
According to emergency officials, the body was found under the Sixth Street Bridge this morning.
Police at the scene reported that two men who were walking along the river path spotted the woman's body in the water and pulled it to shore.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the woman as 46-year-old Christine Hune. An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday.
