Woman, Teen Injured In Perry South Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police investigating two shootings in the Perry South section of the North Side overnight have released a description of a vehicle that may have been involved in the crime.
A woman was shot on Koerner Avenue just after 10 p.m. last night. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital; but authorities have not released any information on her condition.
About an hour later, a man believed to be the injured woman's son was shot in the head just a few blocks away on Leland Street. He was taken to AGH with critical injuries.
Now investigators are on the lookout for a black Chevy Impala with tinted windows and silver trim that may have been involved in both shootings.
Police say the vehicle may be occupied by four men who should be considered armed and dangerous.
