Woman Hit By Downed Pole, Driver In Custody After McKeesport Hit And Run
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- Police took one person into custody following a hit and run crash overnight in McKeesport.
A driver ran into a pole on Fifth Avenue, causing it to fall and hit a woman walking down the street.
It happened around 12:40 a.m.
Witnesses say the driver allegedly took off after the crash, but didn't make it far. He was caught down the street.
First responders rushed the woman to the hospital.
