Woman Crashes Into Building Going Wrong Way

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman is in the hospital after her vehicle hit a building Monday night.

It happened around 10 p.m. near the PNC bank on West Commons Street on the North Side.

The woman drove into the building near the parking garage, going the wrong way. The car rammed into and partially through a brick wall.

Her young child was also in the back seat at the time.

The woman reportedly complained of face pain and had hit her head on the steering wheel.

It's not clear what caused the crash.

The woman was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.

Her child is OK and is with grandparents.
