West Virginia Woman Charged With Shooting, Killing Her Dad And Boyfriend
WILLIAMSTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — A West Virginia woman is accused of killing her father and her boyfriend, authorities said.
Hillary Paige Dennison, 27, of Williamstown, was arrested Sunday on two counts of murder, Wood County Sheriff Steve Stephens told The Parkersburg News and Sentinel.
Deputies initially responded to her home following a report that two people had been injured in an accident, he said. They found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, he said.
The woman's father, Harold Dennison, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff said. Beau Wasmer, 26, was taken to a hospital, but died shortly afterward.
Hillary Dennison told a detective she "fired a gun intentionally at Harold Dennison which subsequently killed both victims," according to a criminal complaint filed in Wood County Magistrate Court.
A motive in the shootings has not been released.
Hillary Dennison was being held at the North Central Regional Jail. It was not immediately clear whether she has an attorney.
