Woman, Baby Injured In New Castle Shooting
NEW CASTLE (KDKA) -- A woman and a 4-month-old baby were reportedly taken to the hospital Sunday evening following a shooting in New Castle, Lawrence County.
According to emergency officials with the county, the incident happened after 9 p.m. at the Westview Terrace housing complex on Beech Street.
Police are investigating whether the two victims were wounded or struck with broken glass.
The woman and child were taken to the Jameson Medical Center for treatment.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
