Woman Allegedly Beaten, Held Against Will In Homewood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A 40-year-old woman says she was held against her will for four days by the father of her children.
This happened at 650 Singer Place in Homewood.
In the criminal complaint, the woman said 34-year-old Ronald Wilson called her Monday at her home in Verona, claiming he had papers for her to sign.
She is giving Wilson's parents custody of their two children, ages 3 and 1 and a half.
She says when she arrived at Wilson's house in Homewood, he deadbolted the door, hid the key and started beating her.
He also allegedly pulled out her hair, bit her arm, put out a cigarette on her face and threatened to kill her with a hunting knife.
She says Thursday was the first day Wilson let her out of the house. While at the Shell gas station at the corner of Penn and North Braddock avenues, she decided to make her move to escape.
When Wilson got out of the car to get gas, she realized the keys were still in the ignition. She got behind the wheel, took off and called 911.
Wilson is now at the Allegheny County Jail on charges of assault, unlawful restraint and terroristic threats.
