Willie Parker Heading To UFL
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Willie Parker will be playing football in 2011 but it won't be in the NFL.
The former Steeler running back announced on his Facebook page that he'll be running the ball in the UFL this year for the Virginia Destroyers.
Parker also said that he still hopes to play again in the NFL.
Parker was publicly hoping to the return to the Steelers this season but never received an offer from them.
"Fast Willie" played six seasons for the Steelers before trying out for the Washington Redskins.
It's highly unlikely that Parker will ever play again in the NFL.
