Whole Foods Sparks Outrage With Pre-Peeled Oranges
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Whole Foods is doing some major back-pedaling after irking customers with pre-peeled oranges.
According to CBS Sacramento, the internet outrage began after a woman named Nathalie Gordon posted a picture of the peeled oranges in plastic containers with a sarcastic message: "If only nature would find a way to cover these oranges so we didn't need to waste so much plastic on them."

On Thursday, Whole Foods responded on Twitter and agreed with criticism saying, "Definitely our mistake. These have been pulled. We hear you, and we will leave them in their natural packaging: the peel."
