White Oak Man Arrested In Deadly McKeesport Home Invasion
McKEESPORT (KDKA) -- Allegheny County Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a deadly home invasion in McKeesport earlier this week.
According to police, 19-year-old Talon Perozich of White Oak was arrested Thursday.
Police say $200 may be the reason for the deadly home invasion. The victim, 24-year-old Brian Cook, was shot and killed while he slept in bed.
He died from a shotgun blast to his face.
His girlfriend, Stephanie Pavlovic, was wounded in the hand and lost parts of two of her fingers. A third finger was surgically reconstructed.
Their baby son, Jayden, was in the next bedroom. He was not harmed.
Allegheny County Police detectives believe that Cook may have owed the $200 to Perozich for a small amount of marijuana.
Investigators say Perozich has a long criminal record.
Perozich is already in the Allegheny County Jail on a parole violation and a small drug charge.
Added to that with be homicide, attempted homicide, burglary, firearms violations and recklessly endangering another person.
