PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - A lawsuit against retail giant Wal-Mart for workplace discrimination is currently before the Supreme Court as they sort out whether the case can move forward as a massive class-action lawsuit.
The discrimination allegations come from countless women who say that while working at Wal-Mart, they did not receive equal compensation or promotions like their male counterparts.
Larry and John talk to Sam Cordes, a local employment attorney, about workplace discrimination, as well as Heather Arnet, CEO of Women and Girls Foundation of Southwestern Pennsylvania, who not only work to stop female discrimination, but are organizing a rally on equal pay issues.
