Westmoreland Co. Crash Kills 1
HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person was killed in a Tuesday morning crash in Westmoreland County.
According to the coroner's report, a car was traveling north on State Route 119 in Hempfield Township, when it crashed into a creek bed near Fry Hollow Road around 8 a.m.
David Williams, 40, of Mt. Pleasant Borough, was the lone occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time, but Williams was not wearing a seatbelt.
