Weather Blamed For Several Morning Accidents
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Rain and rapidly dropping temperatures created some slick spots on the roadways Wednesday morning.
According to State Police, ice is to blame for three separate accidents all within a mile of each other on the Parkway West.
All three accidents happened near the airport exit, but no injuries were reported.
A vehicle rolled over in one of the accidents, while the others appeared to be more minor.
However, the driver of an SUV was injured in a crash on Interstate 79 in Wexford.
The driver had to be pulled from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
