PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A water main break sent water shooting into the air Tuesday afternoon near Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Duquesne Heights, also prompting a boil-water advisory on the West End.

The break happened around 2 p.m. in a construction zone on Shaler Street, near Greenleaf Street. The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority said a contractor struck a 16-inch water main, causing the break.

The neighborhoods under the boil water advisory include portions of Duquesne Heights, Elliott, Ridgemont, West End and Mount Washington.
