Police: Pharmacy Robber Waited In Line To Appear Like Normal Customer
BETHEL PARK (KDKA/AP) -- Police are looking for a suspect who they say waited in line, allegedly wanting to appear like any normal customer, before robbing a Walgreens pharmacy in Bethel Park Sunday night.
It happened around 8 p.m. on Route 19.
Police say the suspect used a note saying, "Make me look like a regular customer and don't make me jump the counter." The note also asked for specific, name-brand prescription drugs.
The man then fled, carrying the medications in a Walgreens bag.
Police say the man didn't show a weapon and don't know if he had one.
