W. Pa. Man Charged With Rape Of Disabled Woman
ROCHESTER, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has been charged with raping a mentally disabled woman.
The Beaver County Times (http://bit.ly/13pPRwD ) reports that 48-year-old Bernard Frank Williams of Rochester allegedly raped the woman on January 9. Williams was arraigned Thursday and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.
Authorities say the woman had recently begun living on her own after spending the last seven years with an aunt and uncle. She was at a local transit station that day to learn how the bus system ran and met Williams there.
No attorney was listed on court papers and there was no answer at a number listed for Williams.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 6.
