Video Released From Carrick Dairy Queen Robbery
CARRICK (KDKA) -- Police have released surveillance video of a man wanted for one armed robbery and suspected in others.
"When he came in the door, I looked right at his face and saw that he had a mask and then I looked down and that's when I saw the gun," said Lauren Kratina, an employee at the Dairy Queen in Carrick.
It's surveillance video from that store that shows the robber wearing a hoodie, jeans and a black, gray and red ski mask. Police say he's white with a thin build.
Since you can't see his face in the video, police are hoping something else gives him away.
"Due to his overall mannerisms and his appearance, as well as what we believe is a distinctive walk that he has, we're hoping with those characteristics alone, someone might be able to identify him," said Lt. Kevin Kraus.
If you recognize the man, call Pittsburgh Crimestoppers at 412-255-8477. Information leading to an arrest and conviction could be worth up to $1,000 and callers can remain anonymous.
