Weekend Storm Causes Slick Roads And Crashes
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Saturday's storm caused slick roads across the region -- leading to lots of accidents and fender benders.
Part of Verona Road was closed Saturday afternoon while emergency responders respond to a car crash.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. on Verona Road, between Mt. Caramel and Lincoln Road.
Officials say the car went off the road and overturned, trapping at least two people inside.
In Edgewood, a car spun out along Brinton Road. That street was also shut down while medics checked the driver and crews moved the car.
And north of the city, a car slid off the road and into a ditch near Mars.
No one was injured, but that car also had to be towed from the scene.
