Verdict In Prison Guard Abuse Trial Expected Thursday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A verdict is expected Thursday morning in the trial of former prison guard Harry Nicoletti.
The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office says jurors reached a verdict late today after deliberating for a fourth day.
However, the D.A.'s Office also says the verdict won't be announced until tomorrow.
Nicoletti is accused in the alleged sexual and physical abuse of inmates based on their crimes and sexual orientation.
He claims the charges are "made up."
The proceedings are set to resume at 9:30 a.m.
