3 Injured In Shaler Crash, County Police Investigating

SHALER (KDKA) -- Three people were sent to the hospital Sunday morning after a crash in Shaler Township.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. on Route 8 at Butler Plank Road.
Police say a 69-year-old woman was driving a Buick southbound on Route 8 when a 38-year-old man in a Jeep came from Butler Plank Road and crashed into her vehicle.
The 69-year-old woman was sent to the hospital in serious to critical condition, but police say she is expected to survive her injuries. A 36-year-old man who was in the Buick with her was also sent to the hospital and has since been released.
The 38-year-old man who was driving the Jeep was also treated and released.
No charges have been filed at this time. County Police are investigating.
