Vandal Targets Uniontown Car Dealership

UNIONTOWN (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a vandalism suspect who damaged more than half of the cars at a local used car dealership this week.

Shortly before midnight on Monday, police say a man wearing all camouflage and a mask over his face went onto the lot of Five Corners Auto Sales in Uniontown.

The vandal slashed 23 tires and keyed 13 cars --causing more than $20,000 in damage.

The lot has insurance that will cover the damage; but for now they are virtually out of business because no one can test drive the cars with flat tires.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The entire incident is caught on surveillance tape, but the dealership declined to release the tape.

The dealership has been in business since 2008 and this is the first problem they've had with vandalism.
