Vandals Slash Tires, Key Vehicles At Pleasant Hills Restaurant

PLEASANT HILLS (KDKA) -Police are investigating after several vehicles were vandalized outside of a restaurant in Pleasant Hills over the weekend.

According to police, the incident took place outside of the Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant on Saturday around 9:30 p.m.

About six vehicles were either keyed or had their tires slashed.

It's not clear if the actor or actors were targeting specific people, but one of the cars belongs to a volunteer firefighter.

Those in the community are now seeking answers.

"I think it's terrible. I don't think it's an isolated incident or directed particularly to me, but there were several vehicles and we say 6 to 8 involved, brand new pickup trucks or relatively new. You have random acts of kindness. This was a random act of violence or vandalism against strangers. I mean, who would do such a thing?" Nicole Vigna, a victim, said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
