Updated Pitt Panther Depth Chart
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Pitt Panthers will look to go 3-0 as they make their first trip to Iowa in 60 years when it visits the Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium.
The Panthers last played at Iowa on Oct. 13, 1951, dropping a 34-17 decision.
The kickoff is set for Noon on ESPN2 with Beth Mowins (play-by-play) and former Oregon coach Mike Bellotti (color) will call the action.
Here are some other storylines for the game:
Pitt running back Ray Graham is the country's leading rusher this week with an average of 161 yards per game. His six rush TDs are tied for the national lead and he ranks second in the country in points per game (tied, 18 ppg.).
In addition to the opportunity for a quality road win against a BCS-caliber foe, Pitt will be seeking only its third 3-0 start since the 2000 season. The Panthers last won their opening three games during the 2009 and 2000 campaigns.
Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz has extensive ties to Pitt and Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School and served as a graduate assistant on Jackie Sherrill's 1980 Pitt coaching staff.
