University Of Pittsburgh Certified As A Bee Campus USA
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The University of Pittsburgh has been certified as a Bee Campus USA.
It earned the certification by creating sustainable on-campus habitats for bees to pollinate.
Pitt will also work on pollinator conservation and support bees by establishing native-plant habitats, providing nesting sites and reducing pesticide use.
Pitt is the fifth school in the state to receive the certification.
