2 Children Drown In Swimming Pool In Uniontown
UNIONTOWN (KDKA/AP) -- Two brothers, Hayden Smith age 1 Hunter Smith age 3, died after drowning in their home swimming pool in Fayette County
According to Uniontown Police, the call came in just before 7:30 p.m. from a home on Whiteman Avenue.
Efforts were made at the scene and en-route to the hospital to save the boys, but they were pronounced dead at the hospital.
The children's grandmother told KDKA's Ross Guidotti that the boys live with her. She said they were in the care of two teenage relatives — and adult family members — when the incident happened.
Authorities are now investigating how the boys ended up in the pool.
Police have not released any names.
