Two Shot, One Killed In North Side Bar Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was shot and killed, and the suspect fled after a shooting at a North Side bar.
Pittsburgh police say a man walked inside JR's Bar on East Ohio Street about 1 a.m., ordered a drink, and then opened fire.

A security guard tried to detain the shooter, but another man intervened and hit him over the head with a beer bottle.
Both men then fled the area.
Lowry was taken to Allegheny General Hospital but died from a gunshot wound to his back.
A second man was also shot in the buttocks during the shooting, he was treated and released from the hospital.
