Teenager Fatally Shot In McKeesport
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- A pedestrian flagged down a police car in McKeesport along Walnut Street Sunday afternoon to alert the officer of a body along the roadway on Tube Works Alley.
McKeesport Police then found the body of a 17-year-old male in the 1300 block of Tube Works Alley with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 17-year-old Ciquann Dudley Jr., of Pittsburgh.
Allegheny County Police Homicide Detectives then initiated an investigation.
"We have not nailed down the timeline of the event," said Inspector Andrew Schurman of the Allegheny County Police Department. "We believe that the victim was shot there, he was not shot someplace else and moved there. We can't definitively say what the motive was at this point, obviously, we're still investigating that, but at this point, it looks isolated and only involved this young man and his assailant."
The alley where the male was found is a remote location; therefore, the reason the victim was there or motive for the shooting is unknown.
