Inbound Fort Pitt Tunnel Reopens After Truck Crash
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The inbound Fort Pitt Tunnel has reopened after a truck crash on Wednesday.
PennDOT says drivers should still expect heavy delays.
A car carrier came through the tunnel and was over height. It almost made it through the tunnel before the cars hit the roof.
The truck was wedged in the tunnel.
Inspectors were on the scene to check out the damage.
The tunnel was shut down for more than an hour.
There were no injuries.
