PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Two days after losing Jim Benedict, known pitching guru for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Travis Snider and Travis Ishikawa elected to test free agency for the 2016 season. Deolis Guerra, reliever, was sent to Triple-A Indianapolis.

In 38 games, Ishikawa hit. 224 with one home run and eight RBIs in 38 games as a Pirate. Snider's second stint in Pittsburgh was short, as he hit .192 in 18 games after September. Guerra appeared in 10 games as a reliever. He went 2-0 with a 6.48 ERA.
