Traffic Restrictions Announced For Super Bowl Sunday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Mayor Luke Ravenstahl announced Sunday night traffic restrictions for Oakland and the South Side during the Super Bowl.
In Oakland, Forbes Avenue from McKee Place to Bigelow Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic at 9 p.m. Parking restrictions will begin on Forbes Avenue at 4 p.m.
On the South Side, Carson Street will be closed from 10th Street To 22nd Street at 9 p.m. Parking restrictions will begin on Carson Street at 4 p.m.
Police are urging bar owners to serve plastic containers and discourage drinking in the streets.
