Top 5 Steelers Fantasy Football Projections
The NFL season is a week away, which means plenty of people are doing research for their fantasy football drafts.
While having the top pick certainly helps, the experts will tell you that drafts can be won and lost in the later rounds.
So, all the fantasy football talk around the office got us thinking about where members of the Pittsburgh Steelers were being taken this year.
The news is kind of surprising, but if you can snag some of these guys late in the draft, you might be on your way to a title.

No. 5 – LeGarrette Blount – RB
Blount's average draft position is 122.3 overall.
Blount figures to be the primary backup to Le'veon Bell, but that doesn't mean he won't be worth a look in fantasy terms.
Last year in New England, Blount rushed for 772 yards on 153 carries for an average of 5 yards per carry. While not a featured back, Blount found the endzone seven times.
No. 4 – Pittsburgh Defense
The Pittsburgh defense's average draft position is 121.4 overall.
There isn't much to say here. The Steelers always pride themselves on having a stout defense.
Last year, the defense recorded 34 sacks, one safety, 10 interceptions, 10 fumble recoveries and three touchdowns.
No. 3 – Ben Roethlisberger – QB
Big Ben's average draft position is 117.2 overall. No, seriously.
In 2013, Ben threw for 4,261 yards to go along with 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also lost six fumbles.
The offensive line has always been a question when it comes to Ben, but he rarely misses a game and could be a steal if he's available as late as the averages show.
No. 2 – Antonio Brown – WR
Brown's average draft position is 25.7 overall.
The departure of Emmanuel Sanders would lead you to believe that Roethlisberger will be looking Brown's way more this season.
Last year, Brown hauled in 110 balls for 1499 yards and eight touchdowns. He also played a big role in the punt return game, where he totaled 409 yards and a touchdown in 32 attempts.
No. 1 – Le'Veon Bell - RB
Bell's average draft position is 21.4 overall.
Bell racked up 860 yards rushing on 244 attempts last season for an average of 3.5 yards per carry.
He also added 45 catches for 399 yards and had a total of eight touchdowns.
