Tomlin Turns Focus To Colts After Win Over Seahawks

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media during his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon.

Tomlin did not spend much time talking about the team's 24-0 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. In fact, all he said was that it was nice to get their first win and that it's time to focus on this week's opponent.

The Steelers scored three offensive touchdowns in the first half, and added a field goal in the third quarter, while the defense held Seattle off the board.

It was a big improvement over their performance during a 35-7 loss to the Ravens in Week 1.

However, Indianapolis is in transition due to Peyton Manning being out with a neck problem. He is not practicing and there is no timeline for his return.

Former Penn State standout Kerry Collins will be under center for the Colts when the Steelers come to town.

While the Colts have not had much success offensively, Tomlin knows Collins is a fast learner. During their 27-19 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 2, the Colts were able to move the ball successfully.

The Steelers' defense will have to be up to the task to shut down the Colts' offense.

Tomlin also expects the Colts to try and put lots of pressure on Ben Roethlisberger.

The teams will meet Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. in Indianapolis.
