Tomlin To Address Injuries, Cardinals
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers coach Mike Tomlin will once again have the eyes and ears of Steeler Nation focused on his press conference today at noon as he addresses the latest injury report from Sunday's 17-13 win against Jacksonville at Heinz Field.
Several starters went down with injuries that weren't fully addressed after the game.
Safety Troy Polamalu went out with concussion-like symptoms in the fourth quarter after making a head-first tackle on Maurice Jones-Drew. He did not return.
Left guard Doug Legursky left the game with a dislocated toe on his left foot. He was seen wearing a walking boot after the game.
Nose tackle Chris Hoke left with a stinger, and free safety Ryan Clark suffered a shoulder injury.
Nose tackle Casey Hampton missed his second straight game Sunday, so his status should be addressed as well.
Tomlin will also address the Steelers (4-2) upcoming opponent today. Pittsburgh travels to Arizona (1-4) Sunday for a 4 p.m. kickoff on KDKA-TV.
Tomlin's press conference can be heard live on 93-7 The Fan.
