Tomlin: Polamalu Will Play Against Cardinals
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Head coach Mike Tomlin updated the Steelers' injury situation during his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon.
While the news was not all good, he did announce that Troy Polamalu will be ready to go on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Polamalu missed most of the fourth quarter against Jacksonville due to concussion-like symptoms. He has passed a concussion test, met with team neurosurgeons and will be cleared to fully participate in practice on Wednesday.
There's also a possibility that Marcus Gilbert, Mewelde Moore, Jason Worilds and even Chris Kemoeatu could return to practice.
However, Casey Hampton, James Harrison and Aaron Smith are not expected to play against the Cardinals.
Doug Legursky will also miss several weeks with a dislocated toe.
The Steelers will take on the Arizona Cardinals Sunday at 4:05 p.m. and you can watch the game on KDKA-TV.
