Multiple Utility Poles With Charged Power Lines Down In Moon Township
MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) - A road was closed in Moon Township after five utility poles with charged power lines fell onto the road.
At the time of the closure, Moon Township Police Department said they expected Thorn Run Road from Old Thorn Run to University Boulevard to be closed for a long period of time.
The road is now back open.
Moon Township Police saiy they believe a box style delivery truck had snagged a line, causing the first utility pole to fall.
After that, the other four poles were thought to fall domino-style.
