Apparently Flash doesn't care that the shortest point between two points is a straight line, but we'll give him a pass. The lightning bolt shape is just so much more stylish.
The CW released a new poster promoting the premiere of the hottest new show "The Flash" on October 7.
Check it out in its hi-resolution glory here. (43 MB)
The art is a treasure trove for fans of the DC comic universe. The copy, "Discover What Makes A Hero" is your first hint to look closer on this Central City street. There are references to "Arrow" with Queen Enterprises, Stagg Enterprises, S.T.A.R. Labs, Kord Industries, AmerTek, the fast food joint of choice -- Big Belly Burger, CC Jitters coffee shop and a tease for an appearance of the villain Gorilla Grodd in the form of graffiti reading "Grodd Lives".
Screenrant examined the poster thoroughly and breaks down all of the easter eggs. How many can you find?
Watch the premiere of "The Flash", starring Grant Gustin as the Fastest Man Alive, Tuesday, October 7 at 8 p.m ET.
The network also released a poster for the critically-acclaimed new comedy "Jane The Virgin", premiering Monday, October 13 at 9 p.m ET.
The show stars Gina Rodriguez in the title role and the poster shows her character Jane clutching a positive pregnancy test. Quotes from TV Guide, USA Today and The Hollywood Reporter sing her praises.
