Terrelle Pryor To Supplemental Draft?

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Now that it's becoming more and more unlikely that Terrelle Pryor will play again for Ohio State, will he consider the NFL Supplemental Draft?

Since he's already suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season and is now being heavily investigated by the NCAA for rule violations, what's the future hold for Pryor?

Len Pasquarelli of The Sports Xchange is reporting that both college and NFL sources are telling him that Pryor could petition the NFL for inclusion in this summer's supplemental draft.

The report says that four of Pryor's teammates are also seriously considering leaving (offensive tackle Mike Adams, tailback Dan Herron, wide receiver DeVier Posey and defensive end Solomon Thomas).

Many scouts believe that Adams and Herron are better NFL prospects than Pryor. In my opinion, Pryor is still a below average passer and succeeds primarily because he can run. That might work at Ohio State, it won't work in the NFL (ask Vince Young).

Pasquarelli says that Pryor is currently a Top 100 prospect by NFLDraftScout.com and the fourth-rated senior quarterback, behind Arizona's Nick Foles, Ryan Tennehill from Texas A&M and San Diego State's Ryan Lindley. Stanford's Andrew Luck, USC's Matt Barkley and Oklahoma's Laundry Jones are also expected to enter the 2012 NFL Draft.

The date for the NFL supplemental draft has not been determined. It's usually held in July.
