Teen's Lawyers File Lawsuit Against Glade Run Residential Care Facility
ZELIENOPLE (KDKA) -- A young man is suing a Butler County residential treatment facility.
The former teenage resident claims he was the victim of child-on-child sexual abuse at Glade Run Lutheran Services in Zelienople.
The facility is designed to care for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
The suit claims the child's pleas for help were met with "anger and hostility" by the staff.
"He came to us and said one thing he wants this place shut down," said lawyer Kartik Suvramany.

Last year, the state Department of Human Services investigated claims of sexual abuse and revoked Glade Run's license after finding a series of violations citing lax oversight.
Glade Run appealed and the state has placed the facility under a plan of correction, including the retraining of staff and monthly inspections.
No criminal charges have been filed.
KDKA's Andy Sheehan went to the facility Wednesday, but administrators there declined to speak with him and asked him to leave the property.
