Teen Shot On North Side
SUMMER HILL (KDKA)- A teenager was shot early Friday morning on the North Side.
It happened just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of Colby Street and Ames Street in the Summer Hill neighborhood.
Police say the victim ran through a wooded area and was discovered on Ames Street. They say he left a trail of blood along the way.
The 16-year-old was shot once or twice in the leg. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in serious condition.
So far no arrests have been made.
