Teen Found Guilty In India Murder Case
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A teenager from South Fayette, who is accused of murdering his mother in India, has been found guilty.
Joncarlo Patton was convicted by a juvenile court in India and will serve three years in a juvenile facility.
Indian authorities claimed Patton killed his mother, Cindy Iannarelli, and dumped her body on a sand dune before washing his bloodstained clothes and trying to flee country.
He was arrested on Aug. 13 at an airport.
According to the police who questioned him, the teen allegedly attacked his mother because he was traumatized by his parents' divorce.
