Taglianetti Talks Pens' Lack Of Discipline
PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)--The Penguins got smoked by the Bruins in game two by a score of 6-1. They now face a 2-0 series deficit heading to Boston. To recap the game, the Fan Morning Show talked to former Penguin, Peter Taglianetti.
The Penguins were frustrated again, and lost track of their game plan. Tags talks about the lack of discipline that the Penguins have displayed in the first two games.
The Brad Marchand goal at the end of the first period was a dagger to the club.
"The first five minute of a period, and the last five minutes of a period you should never get scored on," Tags said. "You should never give up a goal on the shift after you score a goal."
The Penguins broke both of those rules on the same shift.
A major topic of the day is Jarome Iginla playing the left wing on Malkin's line. Peter tells us that he does not understand why Dan Bylsma refuses to move Iginla to his natural position at right wing on Sidney Crosby's line. Tags hints that it could be because Crosby is calling the shots instead of head coach Dan Bylsma.
