Ta'amu Suspended For Two Games
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Steelers' rookie Alameda Ta'amu will be suspended without pay after his recent arrest.
Ta'amu faces 15 charges after he allegedly drove through Pittsburgh's South Side early Sunday morning and crashed into several cars.
The driver of one car was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital with a head injury.
The Steelers released a statement Tuesday saying Ta'amu's suspension is effective immediately and he won't be able to play in the team's upcoming games against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins.
Ta'amu was the Steelers fourth-round draft pick this year.
